چکیده
The immobilization of Rhizopus oryzae lipase (RoL) by hydrophobic adsorption on polypropylene supports with additives was investigated. Additives such as hen egg albumin, sodium caseinate and CAVAMAX® W6 were used to coat the support during where immobilized RoL coated compared those noncoated support. Following immobilization, catalytic activity characterized based different temperatures pH. without showed optimal at an optimum temperature 50 °C pH 6. However, that treated had better performance in terms hydrolytic stability other additives. In addition, having a capable yielding higher ester esterification reactions.

Whole cell biocatalyst for biodiesel fuel production utilizing Rhizopus oryzae cells immobilized within biomass support particles.
As part of a research program aimed at producing biodiesel fuel from plant oils enzymatically cells of Rhizopus oryzae (R. oryzae) IFO4697 (with a 1,3-positional specificity lipase) immobilized within biomass support particles (BSPs) were investigated for the methanolysis of soybean oil. The R. oryzae cells easily became immobilized within the BSPs during batch operation. To enhance the methano...
متن کاملImmobilized Rhizopus oryzae lipase catalyzed synthesis of palm stearin and cetyl alcohol wax esters: Optimization by Response Surface Methodology
BACKGROUND Waxes are esters of long-chain fatty acids and long-chain alcohols. Their principal natural sources are animals (sperm whale oil) and vegetables (jojoba) which are expensive and not easily available. Wax esters synthesized by enzymatic transesterification, using palm stearin as raw material, can be considered as an alternative to natural ones. RESULTS Palm stearin is a solid fracti...
متن کاملEsterification reactions catalysed by surfactant-coated Rhizopus arrhizus lipase
The esterification activity of microbial lipase (triacyl glycerol hydrolase, E.C. 3.1.1.3) in water-organic biphasic solvent system has been investigated. The lipase produced from Rhizopus arrhizus NCM997 strain by solid-state fermentation, using rice bran as substrate, exhibited novel capability of catalyzing esterification reaction. The partially purified lipase was coated with nonionic surfa...
متن کاملProtoplast fusion of Rhizopus oryzae and Rhizopus microsporus for enhanced fumaric acid pr
Rhizopus oryzae and Rhizopus microsporus strains were screened for their ability to produce fumaric acid on glycerol as the sole carbon source in the medium. After seven days of stationary culture, fumaric acid was assayed by HPLC analysis, and maximum concentrations of 0.3% (w/v) and 0.33% (w/v) were recorded. Protoplast fusion was used to improve fumaric acid production. A selective medium fo...
متن کاملA comparison on Lipase Production from Soybean meal and Sugarcane Bagasse in Solid State Fermentation using Rhizopus oryzae
In this study, solid-state fermentation of two types of agricultural residues/products for lipase production in a tray-bioreactor was investigated. Rhizopus oryzae was used as a potential fungus strain and two types of agricultural residues including soybean meal and sugarcane bagasse were utilized as substrate. Fermentation was carried out in two different operational conditions: one with cont...
